Therapeutic Services

Welcome to my counselling, therapeutic and coaching service for individuals and couples. I’m here to help you overcome challenges and reach your goals using proven approaches like EMDR (a therapy that helps heal from distressing events), Transactional Analysis, Somatic Experiencing, Solution-Focused Therapy, Mindfulness, Meditation, Person-Centred Counselling, and CBT.

Adult Therapy

I provide a safe and supportive space to help people heal and feel better. I work with problems like feeling sad, anxious, having low confidence, or struggling in relationships. I help people understand and manage their feelings, build stronger relationships, and live happier lives.

I also use a special therapy called EMDR, which helps people heal from distressing life experiences.

Relationship Therapy – Couples & Individuals

I have many years of experience helping people in mental health services, the NHS, and private practice. I work with individuals and couples to improve relationships, solve conflicts, rebuild trust, and deal with issues like affairs, low self-esteem, intimacy, and confidence. I also support people facing stress, depression, family challenges, and tough decisions about separation or divorce.

My Work

I am an experienced and qualified counsellor with a diploma in Therapeutic Counselling. I use different types of therapy, like mindfulness, CBT, and EMDR, to help people feel better. I’m also trained in couple therapy and therapy for compulsive sexual behaviors. As a member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP), I follow strict rules to keep my work professional.

I understand that everyone is different, so I use a mix of tools and techniques to make sure the therapy fits your needs. My goal is to help you feel less stuck, build confidence, and discover your true potential.

I keep learning and improving my skills by attending regular training, workshops, and meditation retreats to make sure I’m giving you the best care possible.

Therapeutic Work with Individuals

I help people deal with challenges and feel less stuck. Whether you’re feeling sad, stressed, worried, anxious, struggling with relationships, or finding it hard to feel good about yourself, I’m here to support you. Together, we’ll explore what’s causing these feelings and find ways to help you feel better and more confident. I love seeing people make positive changes and live happier lives. Everyone deserves to feel good about themselves and enjoy life, whether they’re in a relationship or not.

Relationship Therapy – Couples and Individuals

I help individuals and couples improve their relationships. This could mean solving arguments, rebuilding trust, dealing with affairs (both online and in real life), improving confidence, or coping with stress. I also help people adjust to big changes, like second families or deciding about separation and divorce.

Therapy for Compulsive Sexual Behaviors

Helping people find freedom from sexual habits — without shame

Many people today find themselves stuck in patterns of sexual or porn use that feel hard to control — habits that might bring short-term relief but leave a sense of emptiness, guilt, or frustration afterwards. You might not see yourself as “addicted,” but perhaps you’ve noticed it’s getting in the way of your relationships, focus, or confidence. My C.H.O.I.C.E. Program is designed for people who want to understand and change these patterns without shame.

Something about me….

Before training as a therapist, I had a career as a nurse and worked for many years in the City of London as a scientist. I’ve run my own business, and worked in corporate, private and voluntary organisations.

I’ve been a scientist, mentor, life coach, psychotherapist, and a yoga and meditation teacher. I know what it feels like to be stressed or pulled in many directions. These experiences taught me a lot and helped me grow.

My journey of self-exploration grew from a sense of dissatisfaction with how I was responding to my life – I recognised that I was truly unhappy. Inspired by the patience and kindness of therapists, meditation and yoga teachers who helped me through my emotional pain, I decided to pursue a career in psychotherapy.

I have taught mindfulness, yoga, and meditation and have practiced them for over twenty years. Nature and creativity are essential parts of my life. I spend my free time in forests and mountains.
