How to Find Love?

How often do you put the needs of others ahead of your own?

We feel that we must look after our family, partner, children, parents, but looking after ourselves is called selfish.

Yes, we women have not been taught or even encouraged, to look after ourselves, but I think that self-love is one of the most precious things you can give to yourself.

To look after and love yourself is to appreciate, nourish, and even to cherish yourself.

THE TRUTH IS THAT
IF YOU DON’T LOVE YOURSELF,
YOU WILL NOT BELIEVE THAT
OTHERS CAN LOVE YOU EITHER.

You’ll sabotage, question, doubt their motives and always feel unworthy of their love.

It’ll be impossible for you to believe that others can love you.

Trust me; I couldn’t believe that real love was possible.

I often thought that “I don’t deserve to be loved.”

And when I found a good guy, my frequent thought was:
“What have I done to deserve this?”
or
“This is too good to be true and definitely won’t last long.”

And yes, you’ve guessed, I felt so unworthy of his love that I’d do something stupid to jeopardise the relationship, until….

I started working on loving myself.

But what does it mean falling in love with yourself?

There are some steps which I encourage you to take.
Watch out for the next posts coming up with some great tips about how to make this change where we’ll begin to explore these steps together.
